Abia State Governor ,Dr Alex Otti has appointed Dr. Christopher Okoro Kalu the new Rector of Polytechnic Abia State ,Aba.
According to a release signed by the Commissioner for Information Culture,Prince Okey Kanu and made available to newsmen at the bouquet Hall of the government house Umuahia,the appointment takes immediate effect.
Dr. Okoro before his appointment as the Rector is a senior lecturer at the Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike at the department of bio chemistry.
Others appointed into the governing council of the institution include:
- Stanley Egege – Chairman
- Dr. Okoro, Christopher Kalu – Rector
- Uchechukwu Job Iweha – Member
- Rose Mbara Nelson – Member
- Mrs. Lawrencia Onyemachi – Member
