The All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate in Abia State, High Chief Ikechi Emenike has further reassured Abians that he will work assediously to the proper implementation of his Rescue and Develop Abia agenda of his Manifesto if elected governor on March 11th.
Emenike added that he is committed to Abia’s development which according to will put the State in forefront when it comes to quality leadership.
While making that call on Abians, Emenike maintained that transformative political struggle to rescue Abia from corrupt leaders for the benefit of all should be everybody’s responsibility as the State cannot afford to remain backwards amongst States in Nigeria.
He stressed the need for Abians to vote out corrupt people who have sidetracked development in the State while concentrating on enriching themselves and creating a realm of large-scale corruption.

He promised to establish industrial parks in each of the 17 local governments of the state and industrial estates in addition to building an international airport, citing up industries and tertiary institutions in the three zones of the state according to their comparative advantages, citing the oil-bearing Ukwa West local government “where a refinery can be built.
Emenike who also declared that his mission is to liberate Abia from political captivity and economic stagnation, clearly pointed out that low budgeting is one of the major reasons the state has remained underdeveloped
