Following the alleged certificate forgery by the Guber Aspirant of the All Progressive Grand Alliance ,Professor Gregory Ibe,a call has been made for him to tow part of honor and withdraw from the race in order to save the party any form of embarassment going into the March 2023 governorship election.
APGA Chieftain and security expert, Sir Chikwe Udensi who was speaking on a Radio Programme monitored by newsstarlet, gave the advice to Professor Gregory Ibe as he noted that there won’t be need for him to continue to struggle to become the Abia State governor when the issue of his intergrity is in doubt.
Udensi maintained that Gregory should save himself and APGA the party whose platform he wants to use to govern the state the shame by giving way for credible candidate of the party to contest the Guber election as it is now in the public domain that he forged his WAEC result.
“You must have to do what is right,if have taken a wrong step in life which everybody must have to do in life sometimes.
“If you have taken that wrong step, you take a bold step the bold step to accept your faults, accept your mistakes and do what is right.”
“We must not cover evil with evil, we must not cover a lie with a lie.”
“It is beyond him .he should take the part of honor and get away from the scene because he cannot go further with the certificate forgery.”
The Interpol Consultant also stated that he had an interface with Prof Gregory Ibe and did brought some of these suggestions to him as there would be gross implications if he insists on fighting to be governor.
He also commended the Abia State government for giving a two day public holiday to Abians for the collection of their PVC’S ahead of February and March elections.
Udensi said the PVC was possible due to the level of credibility that INEC has brought into the system with the use of the BIVAS.
He said it was unfortunate that some persons are yet to collect their PVC’s inspite all the efforts made to sensitize them on the need to participate during the elections .
