In line with the Ibeku customs and traditions, the Ibeku youths have been advised to ensure compliance with the already fixed date for the Ibeku New Yarm Festival set for August 30th,2024.
Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku Prince Benjamin Benedict Apugo while speaking to newsmen said it is important that people follow tradition in order not to be led astray.
He maintained that every Bonafide citizen of Ibeku must observe the August 30th date for the Festival of Iwaji at Egwu Ibeku the capital of Ibeku before every other part of Ibeku commences their own celebration.
Apugo who was reacting to the misconceptions about certain people set to celebrate their own Yam Festival stressed the need for Traditional Rulers to guide the Youths from being misled.
