The problem of non availability of power in Ohafia will soon be a thing of the past.
The Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu made this assurance to the people of Ohafia, over the weekend, stating that the over five years of lack of electricity supply in Ohafia area will be fully restored to give them a sense of belonging.

Emetu who gave the assurance during the Thanksgiving Service and reception ceremony of the member representing Arochukwu Ohafia Fed Constituency, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa on his victory and inauguration as member of the 10th National Assembly held at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Isiama Parish, Elu Ohafia said that the Dr Alex Otti’s Government is poised to ensure a better life for Abians by generating employment for the teaming youths.
The Deputy Governor reaffirmed that they have no business coming to governance than to change the ugly fortunes of Abia, noting that though the challenges met on ground are enormous, the Dr Alex Otti’s Government is equal to the task of offsetting all the arrears of Abia workers and pensioners in line with their campaign promises.
He congratulated the member representing Arochukwu Ohafia Fed Constituency, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa on his victory and charged him to contribute his quota in the development of his primary constituency in particular and Abia at large by complimenting the present administration’s development drive.
