Abians have further been reassured of quality leadership as the Supreme Court affirmed Ikechi Emenike, the Abia State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2023 general election.
Emenike who reinterated his commitments towards the development of Abia State while speaking to newsstarlet as he hailed the Supreme Court Judgement , maintained that his administration will operate on an all inclusive government where no Abia community will be left behind in terms of Budgetary allocation in the State.
“Every annual budget of our administration will be crafted and carefully executed to ensure every community in Abia sees her interest being represented in it. Fairness, equity, and inclusivity in diversity will be pursued.”
Speaking further, Emenike promised to make youth employment and empowerment his top priority as he believes that economic advancement and entrepreneurship is key to ending crimes and youths restiveness in the society.
Emenike added that he will put in place a functional and effective free education up to JSS3 with the aim of making Abia the quality educational belt of Nigeria by directly setting up more tertiary institutions in the State.
Expanding more from his manifesto,the Guber Candidate stressed the need for a total overhaul and enhancement of primary and secondary education in Abia State such that every Headmaster or Principal of a school and their key staff will live within the premises of their respective institutions.
He vowed to fight crimes as zero tolerance will be given to corruption in his government if elected the governor of Abia State .
“We shall not shy away from taking tough decisions. We shall firmly demonstrate zero tolerance for corruption, criminals, and criminality, without dehumanizing any Abian.”
