I will not vote Ikpeazu against Abaribe In good conscience -Udensi

A security expert Sir Chikwe Udensi Udensi has called on Nigerians to consider those with competence and capacity while going to the pools for the 2023 election.

Udensi who through his weekly Radio Programme monitored by newsstarlet was reacting to the assertions made by former PDP governorship Aspirant Samson Orji over his preference of former Senate Minority Leader and current Senator Representing Abia South Senatorial District , Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe to governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the position of the Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District in 2023 election says Orji’s accessment of the two candidates is the opinion of every Nigerian today in their quest for competence in all the elective positions from federal to local government.

“Samson Orji is very serious minded gentleman,I have known him over the years.”
“He’s not giving to enormous frivolities and not like a typical politician who will jump to whatever he thinks that sooths him best no!”
“What he has said is the opinion ,the idea, the concept and the thinking of every Nigerian ,not just Abians today.”

He described Enyinnaya Abaribe as the ranking member of the Senate with experience , adding that Okezie Ikpeazu does not understand what parliamentarian duty is all about as their previous records will show.

Udensi noted that 2023 election will be based on experience, capacity and competence , saying that Abia State under Ikpeazu has not fared good .

He further added that Abia State has been lowly rated in terms of infrastructure, education and poor revenue index as records from the United Nations International unit has shown, stressing that some insignificant States are better than Abia.

He maintained that he will not vote Ikpeazu against Abaribe In good conscience because of incompetence .

“I will not vote Ikpeazu against Abaribe In good conscience because Ikpeazu according to the performance index of the United Nations International unit,Abia did not even come 20 .

Udensi believed that the government under Ikpeazu failed to tap into massive hub of Aba when it comes to revenue generation, citing examples of what he(Chikwe Udensi) did for Lagos State under the Bola Tinubu’s administration in transport and security revenue generation.
He said the government of Abia State should have put in place proper mechanism that’ll generate revenue instead of allow touts do that in the State.
He expressed excitement at the ruling of the Appeal Court for the release of the Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, saying that the political solutions of the release of Kanu will bring succour.

Udensi who frowned at the constant detention of the IPOB leader called on the Federal government to release Nnamdi Kanu in order to avert huge problem.

He expressed disappointment at the later reaction of Malami that Kanu was discharged and not acquitted, adding that it’s confusing what next the Attorney General is looking for as the interpretation of the Appeal Court ruling is quite clear for understanding.

“The certified copies of the judgement was very informative and enormous as page 42 of the lead judgement was comprehensive.”

He added that it is unacceptable what Attorney General is trying to do as the reactions it has generated globally is quite encouraging ,as jungle situation will not be for the interest of the country.

He said the Federal government violated the law by detaining the IPOB leader, adding that keeping Kanu will only amount to trying to disobey the court of competent jurisdiction.

He called on the elites of the Country to seek a peaceful step towards the release of Nnamdi Kanu, while expressing disappointment at the governor’s, Senators for not reacting to the issues of Nnamdi Kanu, saying that the South East caucus latest move for the release of Nnamdi Kanu is not formidable enough .

He enjoined the elites in the Country to seek for peaceful steps towards the release of Nnamdi Kanu .

“I believe in a unified country where there’ll be peace and equal opportunity for everyone.”

“I have a very strong reservation with what is happening amongst our elites on what is happening in the country.”

The security expert urged the Federal government to ensure the release of Nnamdi Kanu in order to commence the healing process as the country has faced too many challenges in terms of insecurity and many other ills.

“The federal government should ensure the release of Nnamdi Kanu so that the country can commence the process of healing.”
