A Nigerian Hip-Culture Sensation Victor Chigozie Josaih, popularly known as God Is Yes has spoken about the source of his music and why he decided to go into music instead of football.
The artist who disclosed this on Saturday , February 10th ,2024 while on a Radio Show at Legend 98.3 FM,Aba,said that his music drive towards the African Rich Cultural Heritage, adding that the World wants to know more about Africa .
Speaking on his wave making song, Wedding day,God Is Yes, reflected on how his neighbour who is a music producer was playing a sound which captured his interest,hence the composition of the song.
He however maintained that he wants to inspire the World ,pass a message through his music no matter the tongue or languages spoken and wouldn’t be obsessed by awards though he felt David could have won instead of Tiller in the just concluded Grammy awards having put a lot of hard works in his timeless album .
God Is Yes further noted that his venture into music after playing football in Europe was God’s plan, saying he has no regrets abandoning the round leather for the microphone.
