Fathers have been urged to be a pillar of strength, love, and support as they remain steadfast in their commitment to the progress of nation-building.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt.Hon. Benjamin Kalu who gave this advice in a release made available to newsstarlet , described the Fathers roles in the society as important because of the values it instills.
While extending his warm wishes to all fathers and father figures in Bende Federal Constituency and across the Nation as the world celebrates Fathers Day today,Ben Kalu acknowledged that fatherhood is a significant role that builds the core of the society through their experience, lessons and support and should be celebrated.
He added that fathers are pivotal to the growth and development of not just the family, but communities and the nation at large,hence the need for them to provide mentorship to their children by helping them grow into confident and compassionate individuals.
The Law-maker prayed for God’s grace and blessings for all fathers as he encouraged them to remain steadfast in their commitment to the progress of Nigeria.
