Abia Deputy Governor , Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu has described birthdays as new beginnings in life and a time for celebrants to pursue new endeavours with new vigour and new hope.
Engr Ikechukwu Emetu who was speaking on Friday at the Eucharistic service held in celebration of the 65th birthday of His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Geoffrey Uzochukwu Kanu, JP, Diocesan Bishop of Isuikwuato, Abia State, says that birthdays are time to move forward with courage and confidence, after a thorough retrospective analysis of one’s life trajectory.
While representing the governor,Dr. Alex Otti, he congratulated the celebrant and wished him more fruitful years to the service of God and humanity.
Highlights of the celebration was the cutting of a birthday cake, presentation of biography of the celebrant, and offering of successfull leadership prayer for Dr. Alex Otti’s led administration.
Notable dignitaries who graced the event includes; Pastor Caleb Ajagba, PhD, the Chief of Staff to the Governor; Hon. Sir Lucky U.
