
Interpol consultant and Security Expert,Sir Chikwe Udensi has vowed to use all the necessary instrumentality within his disposition to find a way to stop security votes arrangements in Nigeria.
Udensi who was responding to the issues of non payment of pensioners and several months of backlog salaries owed some workers by Abia State government , in his weekly Radio Programme monitored by newsstarlet,expressed displeasure over the ignorance shown by the government towards the welfare of workers .
“I’m going to use all the instrumentality within my disposition to find a way to stop security votes arrangements in Nigeria.”
He further said that it is criminal for workers to be owed salaries,citing Biblical examples which says that a worker deserves his wage.
In his words :”anybody who employes another and does not pay Salaries when he ought to and when he is capable of doing that it’s a criminal. ”
Udensi who urged the State Assembly to criminalize the inability of the executive to provide the necessary salaries ,noted that it will be treated as a criminal offence if any government falters in that order which he says is in line with International best practices to pay workers as at when due .
He maintained that Abia State government has the capacity to pay Salaries because it gets income from Federal Allocations, internationally generated revenue , intervention funds and excess crude oil which according to him comes into Billions of naira unbehalf of the State.
Following the All Progressive Grand Alliance parallel primaries held on 29 May which produced two candidates as the gubernatorial flagbearer of the party, Udensi charged Journalists to always report their news properly from the right perspectives, adding that the Court has the final say on who’s the authentic governorship candidate as there were evident affirming his victory during the primary election .
He also said that he and Prof.Gregory Ibe have agreed alongside other Aspirants to allow the Court decide which amongst the parallel governorship primaries was the right one.
“I was not in their primary ,We had two primaries in my own primary I won and the records are there.”in their own primary Prof Gregory Ibe won.”
“We are going to give the courts some proves to decide who is right “
“That is what we’re asking the court on whose primary is right so that records will be kept- so we don’t have this problems repeatedly.”
Sir Chikwe Udensi in reacting to state of the nation, described the choice of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pick a Muslim running mate Shettima as insensitive when the country is currently grappling with Religious differences.
He said Tinubu never felt the purse of the people while chosen his running mate, adding that there should be religious Justice in making certain decisions with the provisions of the constitution drifting towards equity and fairness which should have been a thing of concern.
He noted that there was a need for a competent leadership to be entroned in order to move Nigeria forward as he questions the pedigree of Tinubu and Shettima in leading the country .
Udensi maintained that the hands of God is in Nigeria looking at the candidates who have emerged from APC and the PDP, adding that God supritends over the affairs of men.
He further adviced the electorates to ensure they vote for those who are qualified to govern the country.
Udensi expressed disappointment with President Muhammadu Buhari’s statement which suggests that he is tired to lead the country.
The recipient of multiple awards advised Buhari to tow the part of honour and resign in order to make way for people with capacity as Mr President was overrated when nigerians were unawares of his various incompetence before voting him in 2015.
“I’m very disappointed, extremely disappointed in fact with what he told us specifically ,he ought to take the part of honour and leave the seat for those who have the capacity to do the job.”
He added that Mr President has demonstrated that he was not prepared for the job ,adding that the issues of ASUU strike ought to have been addressed long ago knowing how the president became an advocate during the 2009 ASUU strike, while he questioned the rational behind the continuous strike inspite the personalities in the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Labour .
