The Chairman of the Nigerian community in Zejiang Province in Republic of China, Prince Kalu Ifegwu Orji, has hailed the human and leadership qualities of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
Kalu was a former Governor of Abia State and currently represents Abia north senatorial district in upper legislative chamber of the national Assembly.
In a statement on Sunday, while congratulating the ex-governor on the occasion of the celebration of his 64 birthday on Sunday, Prince Ifegwu Orji said that Senator Kalu’s committment in nation building cannot overemphasized.
He noted that Senator Orji Kalu has distinquished himself as one of the finest democrats and leaders in Nigeria, having shown quality leadership as then governor of Abia state, and provides effective and efficient representation of Abia north senatorial zone and Abia state at large in the senate.
He said Senator Kalu has raised the bar in socio-economic and infrastructural development in Abia north district through sponsoring of impactful motions and bills which has birthed monumental projects scattered in every parts of the senatorial district.
While describing the ex-Abia governor as father of Modern developmental politics, Prince Ifegwu Orji said Senator Kalu has remained voice of ndigbo as he has committedly advances the interest of igbo ethnic nationality in the present democratic governance in the country.
He however congratulated Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as he mark 64 years birthday celebration and prayed almighty God to grant him more strength and abundant wisdom in continuation of his services to the people of Abia state, ndigbo, and the country at large.
