Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku Prince Benjamin Benedict Apugo has expressed excitement that Abia State will soon have an Airport.
Apugo disclosed it during the official grand breaking ceremony of Abia Airport,he said that to see Abia have an Airport has been his wish for the past 24 years after appealing to former governments towards having such development in the State.
” I am very happy to be here today because this has been my wish the airport all of you here knows that for 24 years I’ve been appealing to the former government of Abia State unfortunately nothing was done to that effect”.
He thanked the honorable Minister for Aviation and Aerospace ,Festus Keyamo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving Abia State an Airport.
“Mr President thank you very much and to you the Honourable Minister”.
