Former member Representing Umuahia East State Constituency ,Hon.Chukwudi Apugo has enjoined the Youths of his Community to ensure they acquire skills to enable them become useful to the Society and their respective families
Hon.Apugo who was addressing his community at his residence in the early hours of Thursday 15th May 2025,added that the empowerment is in line with the activities marking his 50th birthday coming up on Friday 16th May 2025 to ushering in dignitaries across the Country to celebrate with him.
He urged the Nkata youths to eschew jealousy and bitterness amongst One another,a vices he said that will not bring progress and development.
While he maintained that majority of them in the gathering are prospective wealthy people as that can only be attained through hard work and unity.
He believes that wisdom is profitable to direct as the use of charm and diabolic things in the community is not the way forward for progress.
Speaking on what inspires him to empower people,Hon.Chukwudi Apugo gave the credit to his Father, Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku,Prince Benjamin Benedict Apugo for inspiring him and his Siblings towards helping people, saying that was One of the major attributes of their Father that captures his interest as a child.
Chukwudi Apugo commended the beneficiaries for being responsible and express confidence that they’ll expand progressively with the little motivation he has given to them.
Hon.Apugo further maintained that God was his only secret during his Eight years at the Abia State House of Assembly,stressing that what the people of his Community needs to move forward is peace and development.
Nwakama Akomas ,Ogbu Onwuchekwa ,Uchenna Apugo Kingsley George ,Ogadinma Odemela,Onyemuwa Kelechi,Chidiebere Chukwudi,Eberechi Odoemelam ,Chidera Samuel,Chimezie Udochukwu,Pastor Destiny , Deaconess Success amongst others were the 17 beneficiaries from the Three Hundred Thousand Naira empowerment.
