APC Consensus Candidates for the Office of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Tajudeen Abbas and Rep. Benjamin Kalu today paid a courtesy visit to the wife of the President, Senator. Oluremi Tinubu at their private residence in Abuja with other members of the joint task team and women in parliament to congratulate her on a successful inauguration and transition into the new administration.
Mrs Tinubu was joined by the wife of the speaker of House of Representatives mrs salamatu Gbajabiamila , the APC women leader Dr Betta Edu , Senator Aishatu Binani APC Guber candidate in Adamawa and other distinguished female senators received the duo warmly .
While the speaker and the deputy speaker candidates took time to congratulate and thank her for her various supports towards their emergence, the First Lady of Nigeria , assured them of more support , saying that in them lie the best decision by the party for inclusion and merits.
She also urged them to include women in other key positions in the house after winning the elections on the 13th of June .
