The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressive Party,Chima Anyaso has described the YPP as a party that meets his standard and opportunity to bring dividends of democracy to Abians.
Anyaso who pointed at irregularities within the People’s Democratic Party as reasons for his defection to the YPP, added that he came into the PDP as an agent of change but had to leave when he realized the problems of the PDP was not going to be resolved .
“It’s Young and it’s progressive,I found myself in that category, I’m Young and Progressive because it’s a party that meets my standard and opportunity. “
He added that the Young Progressive Party offers Young people like him the opportunity to participate in governance of Abia State.
China Anyaso who spoke as a guest on love FM programme monitored by newsstarlet,further stressed the need for Abians to avoid stagnation which is associated with the PDP and vote Engr Enyinnaya Nwafor as governor of Abia State come 2023 in order to ensure equitable dividends of democracy .
He maintained that what matters is service delivery to Abians as the Nana Ofugi quest for joining YPP is to bring development clear the mess incured by the current PDP administration in the State.
“All the PDP had done wrong is what the YPP wants to do right.”
” We have a Young man who is saddled with the responsibility of giving Abia a new face that’s why all of us are rallying around him ,he said.”
Anyaso added that Engr Enyinnaya Nwafor is the most qualified amongst the Candidates in the Abia Guber race , adding that their manifesto’s 7 point agenda are people oriented and contains plans to improve in Education, Security,Commerce and Industry, Infrastructural development as well as to make Aba the real commercial nerve center of Abia State.
Anyaso who reinterated his Support for the YPP candidate, believe that his partnership with Nana Nwafor will bring the needed change in Government of Abia.
“As his running mate we’ll give him support to be able to carry out his plans for the development of Abia.”
“Ikpeazu’s government is the worst government as far as I’m concerned.”
