Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku Prince Benjamin Benedict Apugo has enjoined the Youths to be upright ,shun fraudulent activities and embrace hard work and honesty as it is the greatest life attributes.
Apugo who gave the advice to the Youths during his birthday celebration, called on young people to avoid all kinds of illegalities that leads to misery ,adding that every human being have reasons to achieve success in life.
“That is the problem We are trying to encourage particularly in our area.”
“Hard work is very important all these fraudulent activities they’re all temporary achievements if you don’t have foundation you go about doing fraud robbing people and doing all kinds of illegality or the other at the end you’ll definitely crumble.”
“Everybody that is in this World have reason to be here weither you’re a carpenter or bricklayer or a painter you have reason to be here and that reason you must achieve it.”
“You should not achieve that reason in a bad way, you’ll achieve that reason to help others even if you have nothing to help others with financially ,you help others by telling them the truth or directing them for things that they’ll do which is honest.”
He maintained that he will be remembered for sincerity and intergrity and preservation of the Ibeku culture.
“Ochiagha will be remembered for sincerity and intergrity and believing in myself and my culture which says you must keep your hands straight that is what Ochiagha will be remembered for.”
“Today as far as Ibeku land my home land that owns the whole Umuahia Ibeku the Capital is concerned .”
“I am the custodian of the shrine where our great great grand fathers (ancestors)were buried and I’ve followed instructions to preserve it.”
Prince B.B Apugo further charged Abians to take their destiny into their own hands by ensuring the needful is done by voting wisely in 2023 election in order to avoid regrets .
“I know that this time Abians will not allow themselves to confused.”
“Everybody must take their fates in their own hands by taking the responsibilities that matters to their future because our suffering is beyond money. “
He maintained that the interest of Abia State must surely be considered as the State prepares for 2023 governorship election.
He added that he detest leaders who are not sincere to condemn bad governance in Abia State due to the financial benefits they get from the government.
“You know me ,I don’t have the type of friends our people used to have, I don’t have time for those type of friends but I’m an Abian.”
“Every other person that is an Abian is an Abian but if you choose not to be Abian and chose to be taking Salaries from government house to cage you so that you don’t speak out against this fraud that is going on in Abia State,I will not recognize you as a leader.”
“Most of them pretends to be leaders while they are not.”
Apugo said his business adventure placed him successfully in his early 20’s when he was awarded a transportation of Fertilizer contract to the whole Nigeria by Operation Feed The Nation with Usman Dantata at the age of 22.
“I was the deputy Chairman of NPN at the age of 26 even before then I was awarded the contract of transportation of Fertilizer to the whole Nigeria by Operation Feed The Nation myself and Usman Dantata at the age of 22.”
“I was more than a millionaire and had 104 Trailers ,Vehicles.”
“I was been used by Leventis to advertise Mercedes.”
Speaking during Prince B.B Apugo’s birthday celebration,the Labour Party Governorship Candidate Dr. Alex Otti describes ,Apugo,the celebrant as a wonderful of intergrity who had lived examplary life, while he prayed God to sustain Ochiagha so that he will continue to play a fatherly and advisory role in the State.
He enjoined the Elderly in the State to emulate Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku,Prince B.B Apugo whom he said has remained steadfast by speaking truth to power.
“The part of the problems is that we have Elders who have refused to speak because they are either are too intimidated or compromised but Ochiagha is not one of them and he has remained steadfast consistent and he has continued to call out different governments who have been mared by ineptitude and incompetence and my charge to Abia Elders is that they should emulate him.”
Otti expressed confidence that Apugo will celebrate his next birthday seeing a desired new Abia leadership of his dream .
Responding to the issues about Labour Party not having the required structures to winning the 2023 general election in Nigeria,Otti added that the structures are human beings as the symbol of the party depicts :Papa ,Mama and Pikin.
“I’m not too sure there’s any party in Abia that has the kind of structure as we have.”
“Structure is all about human beings and we have always had human beings I think there was such an allegation in 2015 what happened and we won the election and they made an attempt to steal .”
“And ofcourse my Presidential Candidate has said that structure they mean is structure of corruption, structure of stealing , that is not the kind of structure we want .”
“We want a structure of human beings and those structures exists because we have a lot of human beings in any case when you look at the symbol of labour party we are talking of the human beings Papa Mama and Pikin some how you’ll find yourself there.”
“I think I’m young at my age,but these days I eat only once a day ,I sleep on one bed ,I drive one Car at a time so how much money do you really require.”
“So the people that require the money are old people who are owed 40′ 45 months Pension arrears , Salaries of 30,35 months who are made to endure the gabage in the whole of the State everywhere is stinking ,roads are not built ,hospitals are in states of disrepair.”
“When God have blessed you the blessing is not just for you but for you to be a blessing to other people so let’s begin to think about our people who are suffering today and that is when you can radiate that blessing that God has given to you.”
Otti believes that the Abia Guber race is a make up of two different perspective , saying the people that like what is happening or are part and parcel of what is happening in the State now in Abia, and the people that have said no.
He maintained that it’s too late in the day for some of the people who have always defended and have been part of the wraught in Abia to become emergency opposition.
“The only thing is that this race is divided into two (they’re two divides),the people that like what is happening or are part and parcel of what is happening in the State now in Abia, and the people that have said no it’s too late in the day for some of the people who have always defended and have been part of the wraught in Abia to now become emergency opposition.
“If you permit me I think we have closed the register for opposition so if you want to be opposition come and cue behind us ,otherwise let’s call you by your name.”

“What have you done did you contribute to the wraught in the State did you defend it did you speak against it ?if you can answer some of these questions then we can engage with you otherwise when you come and tell us that you dont like what is happening when did you stopped liking what is happening.?
