Supercomputer Predicts Arsenal To Win The Premier League

A supercomputer has predicted Arsenal will win the Premier League and how the table for the 2022/23 season will look like.

Throughout each season, various supercomputers predict how the Premier League table is going look come May.

Arsenal are currently leading the way in the Premier League – sitting one point ahead of champions Manchester City and bitter North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Brighton and Hove Albion are also in the top four and Fulham are sixth, while pre-season contenders Chelsea and Liverpool are seventh and eighth respectively.

At the other end of the table, Leicester, Nottingham Forest and West Ham are sitting in the bottom three – with Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Wolves hovering just above the drop zone.

Most critics accept the table won’t look like this come the end of the season. For example, Liverpool are expected to finish in the top four and it would be a shock to see West Ham in a relegation battle.

And according to Yet Football Web Pages’ supercomputer, Arsenal will win the Premier League title by three points. What’s most surprising about this prediction is City are tipped to win all 19 of their home games and still finish second! And that’s not the only shocking call.

Brighton are backed to finish level on points with City by winning all but one of their games at the Amex – and Tottenham are also predicted to have a 100 per cent record at home. Antonio Conte’s side are tipped to finish fourth.

The prediction states that Liverpool will not win a single away game all season. In fact, the supercomputer believes Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Everton, Wolves, Forest and Leicester all tipped to go winless on the road.

The only team not expected to win a home game is West Ham. The Hammers are predicted to draw 13 games at the London Stadium and pick up just one win all season to finish bottom of the table on 19 points. We are just picturing David Moyes’ reaction to this.

Another surprising call is City’s plus 80 goal difference, as they are expected to score 104 goals. That’s not surprising considering Erling Haaland has already found the net 10 times in the league this season – what’s surprising is it’s not enough to win the title.

More remarkable is Bournemouth ‘s minus 86 goal difference. They are tipped to concede exactly 100 goals and score just 14 – but that will be enough to stay up and earn 30 points.

Only one team has conceded 100 goals in a Premier League season before and that was Swindon Town in 1993/94. They also won 30 points that campaign, yet it’s important to remember that was a 42-game season. They also scored 47 goals.

Leicester, meanwhile, are expected to break the record by shipping in an astonishing 110 goals. Their defence is leaky – losing 6-2 in their last outing to Tottenham.

And West Ham are backed to concede just 36 Premier League goals all season – 14 fewer than sixth-placed Brentford. Yet they are tipped to score just five goals.
