A 500-level student of the Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike, Abia State, identified as Modestus Hyacinth Egbulefu has died after taking hard drugs.
According to ABN TV ,the electrical/electronic engineering student was said to have jumped from the third floor of a high-rising building (Groom BASE Lodge Umudike) after taking some psychoactive substances suspected to be Crystal Meth “Nkpuru Mmiri”. He died on the spot.
The incident which occurred on Friday at about 9:40am has left his neighbors in shock.
His body has been deposited at a subservient morgue located at Awom Ukwu in Ikwuano local government area of Abia State following reports from ABN TV As at the moment of this report, the spokesman of Abia State Police Command, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna could not be reached for a comment as his phone lines were not reachable.
