Veteran Nigerian rapper Michael Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman, has revealed why he does not have children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on a recent episode of TVC\u2019s Your View Pidgin, the 51-year-old artist stated that he made a personal vow in his younger years never to have a child out of wedlock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am not currently in any relationship, nor am I married, and I do not have a child yet. When I was much younger, I vowed never to have a child out of wedlock,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruggedman admitted that, at times, he questions whether his decision was right or wrong but maintained that parenthood requires commitment from both parties and should only be undertaken with someone he truly loves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Baraje crooner also further reflected on his early years in the entertainment industry, suggesting that his career may have influenced his personal life choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI blame entertainment a little because when we came into the industry, we didn\u2019t know much\u2014our focus was just on entertainment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
