The All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate ,Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged the people of South East not to be in opposition , adding that if elected will bring quality development in the region.
He assured the Youths that his administration will put programmes in Education as its top Priority .
The presidential hopeful made the declaration during the presidential flag off of the party on Tuesday 24th January at the Umuahia Township Stadium Abia State.
According to Asiwaju, he said that the youth will no longer spend eight (8) years for a four year course under his watch as the Nigeria president, maintaining that a four year course will end in four years.
Tinubu expressed satisfaction towards the type of reception he got since his arrival adding that it gave him Exceeding joy, determination, courage and sincerity to go to the pull knowing that he is assured of victory.
He went further to developing Abia to turn Aba into a real business hub and make the State a tourist attraction center.
“I’m the one who will use the Federal power to develop Abia State, I will ensure that Aba becomes a real business hub, this state will be a tourist attraction. I don’t promise and fail, I’ll deliver.”
According to him, he said “After voting go home and watch TV” noting that he knows the value of victory.
“I know the the value of victory.”
Tinubu also called on the factional party Guber Candidate, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah to withdraw all court cases against the party as he noted that dialogue will be key for peaceful resolution .
Earlier, the Gubernatorial candidate High Chief Ikechi Emenike expressed hope to rescue the state from those who plans to hijack it and make it remain in the comatose state adding that Abia must be rescued first before it can be developed.
Again the chairman of the party Mr Kingsley Ononogbu urged every member to be strong so as to change the narratives stating that this is the time get it right. Saying that they cannot make mistakes any more.
