The All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial Candidate,High Chief Ikechi Emenike says that his administration will create investment outlets for the Abia people and make it a financial hub of the South-East.
Emenike whose campaign train is gaining mass appeal in the State, promised to use his wealth of experience in deepening Abia’s economic space and modern institutions of development as these will create employment to the Youths.
While outlining his programmes for Abia,he added that Abia under his governance will create 5,000 viable jobs instantly, if the modern institutions of development takes off six months after his inauguration.
He believes that an establishment of a viable financial institution will drive development in the State through setting up a full-fledged commercial bank with it’s headquarters in Umuahia and branches in each of the 17 LGAs in the State.
Abia State, according to him,can create the platform for private individuals and communities to pool resources together for the establishment of the institutions that can aid and fast-track development in the State.
Emenike remains resolute that the new Abia state government would be the enabler towards diversification of the economy by finding solution to the alarming unemployment situation in the State which remains one of the major reasons for his bid to becoming a governor.
He further promised interventions in critical areas like education, agriculture, transportation, commerce, sports, and the health sectors.
