A security expert ,Sir Chikwe Udensi has blammed the insecurity experienced in the South East region on the governor’s inability to profer solutions to the spate of violence experienced in the region.
Udensi who stated this on a Love FM programme monitored by newsstarlet, added that the governors failed to head to the security advice giving to them earlier.
He thanked the newly elected Anambra State governor Prof.Charlse Soludo who is gradually reaching out to all the Stakeholders in the state in order to have a lasting solution over the security issues in the State , maintaining that the amnesty granted to IPOB members was a right step in the right direction.
Udensi believe that Soludo will bring the required solutions that will serve as a national healing the South East and the Country at large as so much damages have been done both economically ,while calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, other IPOB prisoners and prisoners of conscience.
He noted that over thousands of IPOB members were killed according to recent reports of amnesty international, saying that there’s been lapses in the system based on some underground killings going on in the East as some persons are perpetrating crimes hiding under IPOB.
He said the Anambra State governor,Soludo must ensure real IPOB people are granted amnesty.
Reacting to the recent developments in politics,the Interpol consultant, said the mass movement experienced recently into the All Progressive Grand Alliance from other political parties is a clear indication that the quest for good leadership is very serious as APGA is the only party that will restore the hopes of people who wants good governance.
He stressed the need for the South East to be given the opportunity to govern the Country as the region has watched over the Years,the rotation of power from every parts of the country.
On plans to incorporate 50% of Women in the affairs of the nation Udensi said the 50% proposal for the involvement of Women in the affairs of things in the country was not meant to please anybody as the Women are very important and plays a key role.
He says that women performs optimally than the male folks,as experiences have shown,citing exams of countries like United States of America ,parkistan,British and other areas where Women have shown capacity as they ventured into Leadership positions.
He said the trend globally where Women have explored through development must encourage government to give them more to do .
“No home can effectively be ran without a Woman ,”My personal experience showed that Women are good leaders”.
“I was secretary general of ALGON.I managed 774 Local Government for Six Years,it was a very hurclean task I have directors only 3 of them were meWomen as Staff and they outperformed the Men”
“I feel very comfortable working with Women because they have shown capacity”
Chikwe Udensi further said that he will not sheild hoodlums or anyone involved in banditry,if he becomes the governor of Abia State.
